I don’t believe in perfect. Perfect isn’t real. That’s probably why I dislike Photoshop because it alters the history of our photographs.
We did a little painting this weekend and switched photographs between rooms. I always loved this photograph. And not because of the excellent composition(thanks Sarah) or the kiss my husband is giving me, rather, the fact that you can see my moccasins under the stairwell.
I chose a pair of very high-heeled shoes for my wedding day and I was smart enough to know that I wouldn’t last more than an hour in them, so I decided to wear moccasins to my reception. Ridiculous I know, but so cozy.
I didn’t realize the moccasins were in the photograph until I had it printed on this large scale.
