Sunday afternoons can be a total drag in this house. It is our “prep” day.
We try our best to make all our work lunches on Sundays and lay out work clothes for the week. So when it comes to cooking on Sundays, we usually roll our eyes. We usually go grocery shopping Sundays and find we are throwing away food we’ve purchased for recipes. I had lots of produce leftover from my autumn soup last week. We can’t really use it as a side for dinner. Now what?! I thought I’d dust off that nice fruit & cheese tray and make an impromptu lunch. Not too shabby, eh?
And YES that is a fish and a boat.
